Beautifying your lawn and landscape is our passion. Here is what we can do for you!
The Lawn
Weed & Feed Program You CAN have the beautiful lawn that you’ve been dreaming of. Each application in our program plays an important role in either preventing and controlling weeds which germinate at different times throughout the year, and/ or focuses on the health and color of the grass. We offer 6 step or 4 step programs.
Grub & Insect Application Grubs feed on grass roots which can cause dead spots to appear in lawns. Grubs, and also insects, attract pests such as moles and skunks that dig in lawns to feed on them which can result in devastating damage. This specially formulated, one time application helps control grubs as well as numerous insects that can easily ruin a summer evening in your lawn.
Lime Application Lime helps to maintain a healthy soil PH and helps to optimize good growing conditions for your lawn by increasing nutrient availably to the lawns root zone.
Nutsedge Treatment Nutsedge grass is unfortunately becoming more problematic in our area. We have a specific treatment to target nutsedge if it is spotted in a yard.
Aerating and Overseeding Over time soil becomes compacted. The holes created by aerating give the soil a return of proper circulation of air, water and nutrients. The aerating process offers is the perfect opportunity to boost the thickness of your lawn by overseeding as well.
Mowing Professionally cut grass with string trimmed edges. Bagging available upon request.
The Landscape
Mulching Package Adding a fresh layer of mulch will not only improve the appearance of your landscape beds, it can help conserve moisture, fertilize your soil, and cut down on weeds.
Shrub Trimming Trimming your shrubs regularly keeps them healthy and attractive.
Spring Cleanup Starting the season with a cleanup gives your property a curb appeal face lift.
Leaf Cleanup Matted leaves in landscapes and lawns are unsightly and can be a home for mold and pests. We can do leaf clean ups throughout the autumn season on a weekly or as needed basis.
Fall Cleanup This one time service near the end of the season, will leave your landscape beds clear of old perennials and leaves.
PLEASE NOTE-
- We offer a 5% discount on the Lawn Weed & Feed Programs, Grub & Insect Application and Lime Application when prepaid by February 28th. Contact us today for your discounted price if we have not already given you a total.
- Due to the unpredictable inflation costs of fuel, equipment and products, you may see new prices and/or a surcharge for your services this year.
- Mowing
- Mowing routes are scheduled to begin in April at our discretion. Spring grass growth can be very unpredictable, if you have a preferred starting date, please notify us.
- Mowing routes are repeated each week, but due to weather, holidays, and other variables, being mowed on the same day of the week cannot always be guaranteed.
- We expect to arrive at the property each time with the lawn ready to mow. An additional charge will be added to the bill if there are sticks, trash, and/or dog droppings for our crew to pick up. This also applies to the first mow of the year if there is snow plow damage to the lawn (examples- excessive dirt, stones, cinders, and/or pieces of pavement in the lawn) that we must clean up to be able to mow the grass in a safe manner.
- Due to insurance purposes, we do not move trampolines.
- During the mowing season, if our crew determines that the lawn did not grow, is too dry, or is too wet, we will skip mowing that week and return the following. A happy client is a main priority for us, if you would like your mowing skipped for any reason, please notify us ahead of time. If you chose to skip the mowing service after our crew arrives at the property, you may be charged with a travel fee.
- If a mowing service gets skipped for any reason, there is a possibility of a surcharge the next week for the additional time it takes to mow the lawn.
- Our Nutsedge Treatment is not a preventative application, but rather done as needed. Sometimes nutsedge covers the whole lawn, but most times it only appears in patches. Therefore, it will be billed based on the square footage of treatment. If you sign up for this service, our applicator will treat nutsedge areas if/when he notices it while doing other services to your lawn.
- During the mulching service, digging an edge for a landscape border before mulching can reach a depth of 4+ inches. Client is responsible to alert us of shallow wires before we begin. (examples- lamp post, underground dog fence, etc.)
- Prices for mulching can vary each season due to the amount of product needed to achieve an attractive curb appeal and practical depth for weed control.
- “Leaf Cleanup” refers to the service in the fall that is the clean up of only leaves, on an as needed basis. The service entitled “Fall Cleanup” is a one time service and refers to cutting down perennials along with the cleanup of leaves at the end of the year.
- Prices for Leaf Cleanup and Fall Cleanup depend on the amount of leaves collected and can vary each season and/or week.
- Client is responsible for double checking that gates are closed after crew has left.
- Any midseason cancellation of prepaid service will be refunded 80% of the remaining credit, upon request.
- We expect prompt payment after invoicing for all services. Failure to pay in a timely manner may result in fees and/or discontinued services.
- Client will be charged $25 for returned checks.
